The state of New Jersey requires Salesperson Candidates to have 75 hours of instruction and Broker Candidates to have 90 hours of instruction in order to sit for the state examination. In addition, the state allows a candidate to miss up to 20% of class time. The state DOES NOT require the class instruction to be consecutive, however.

In addition, New Jersey Institute of Real Estate has a Remedial Exam Prep Course that reviews the entire possible test question you may see on the state exam. These Remedial Exam Prep courses run simultaneously with the regular Salesperson and Broker classes which will allow you to be fully prepared for the state exam test questions while still getting credit for the state required times for instruction, at NO additional cost to you.
